Why choose Jack?
“What makes you so different from
all the other presentations trainers out there?”
Four things: my experience, the example I set, my sales background, and finally my material.
Experience: Researchers say it takes at least 10,000 hours of intense practice for anyone to approach greatness in any field. In almost 20 years of training and speaking, I have compiled over 20,000 hours of time in front of challenging audiences, in two dozen countries and across numerous industries.
Example: Busy people simply will not tolerate an instructor with no credibility. I personally model the key skills taught in all my courses. As an example, I have a standing offer to pay $20 to anyone who hears an “um” come out of my mouth while training.
Sales focus: I’ve been a trainer in complex sales for almost 20 years, so I specialize in teaching people how to be “outside-in” focused, to figure out the most powerful persuasive approaches, and to confidently express the value of their ideas and proposals.
Material: My 20,000 hours of training and speaking experience have still left me enough time to read 75-80 books per year and mine them for new ideas and approaches. I apply kaizen to my courses, constantly improving a little bit here and there. My wide range of reading allows me to create a unique combination of classical rhetorical approaches and modern research in persuasion, behavioral economics and cognitive science.
“So What?”
The answer to that question depends on what you expect to get from hiring a presentations trainer. If you are intent on improving your personal communications effectiveness, you will get an intense, no-nonsense, practical workshop which will provide instant impact and a road map for constant improvement.
If you are responsible for choosing a workshop for your organization, you will have the security of knowing you are hiring a true professional and the assurance of the appreciation of your internal clients.
